Companies within the surgical procedure and radiology division on the Veterinary Hospital of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences College (GADVASU) have been suspended on Tuesday until additional orders after a standard relative of two attendants examined optimistic for Covid-19.
Sharing particulars, Dr Parkash Singh Brar, dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science, mentioned services similar to X-ray, ultrasound and surgical procedures on small and huge animals had been suspended.
“A standard relative of our two attendants within the division (examined) Covid-19 optimistic so we’re (being) cautious to interrupt the chain of virus transmission,” he mentioned.
As authorities and workers on the Veterinary Hospital needed to take care of numerous individuals each day, “so precautionary measures are crucial for the welfare of the group,” Brar added.
Samples of the attendants have been being examined at GADVASU’s new lab which was inaugurated on Monday.
