The municipal company will shift 25,000 metric tonne of legacy waste from the waste processing plant to a dumping web site in Dadumajra. A proposal for a similar was accredited by the MC basic home in a gathering held on Thursday.
Legacy waste refers to waste that has been collected and stored for years on barren land. At current, there’s 5 lakh metric tonne of legacy waste on the dumping web site. The waste is within the course of to be eliminated as a part of a ₹35 crore mission.
