A landslide occurred at Uttarakhand’s Badrinath nationwide freeway in Bajpur of the Chamoli district on Thursday, as a result of incessant rainfall.
Landslide on the freeway has disrupted the visitors motion, and an operation to clear the route is underway, officers mentioned.
On July 16, the Badrinath Freeway at Pagal Nala and Lam Bagar in Chamoli district was blocked as a result of falling of boulders after heavy rainfall.

The freeway connects Gangotri to Uttarkashi and highway motion is usually affected as a result of landslides throughout heavy rains.
In the meantime, the India Meteorological Division (IMD) mentioned that patches of reasonable to intense convection lie over Uttarakhand adjoining Northwest Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Northeast Uttar Pradesh.
“Newest Satellite tv for pc imagery and Radar imagery present patches of reasonable to intense convection lies over Uttarakhand adjoining Northwest Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Northeast Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, and Meghalaya, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep space,” the IMD tweeted.
