Ambala district Justice of the Peace Ashok Kumar Sharma on Sunday banned massive gatherings for Janmashthami-related features until August 13 .
Sharma mentioned that to stop the Covid-19 unfold, massive gatherings should be restricted, as per directions issued by ministry of house affairs.
He added that anybody violating the order can be booked below Part 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code.
Covid-19 circumstances have risen at an alarming price in Ambala since July. To date, 2107 constructive circumstances have been reported from the district, of which 391 are lively. As many as 19 individuals have succumbed to the virus up to now.
