A fraudster posing as a meals provides officer was arrested on Thursday by the police for extorting cash from shopkeepers by threatening to high quality them.
In an FIR towards Manpreet Singh of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar on the assertion of grocery store proprietor Sanjiv Kumar of New Moti Nagar, it was alleged that Singh turned up on the market on July 27 posing as a meals provides official.
