An arrested accused, who examined optimistic for Covid-19 and escaped from Shivaji Nagar isolation facility, has been booked by police in contemporary case for making an attempt to kill two policemen.
The accused Santosh Meghraj Tivarekar, 20, examined optimistic in July first week after being arrested by RCF police on June 29. One other accused, Irfan Shakir Ali Khan, 19, arrested in a separate case, additionally examined optimistic. Each of them have been shifted to Shivaji Nagar isolation centre, from the place they managed to flee on July 13.
In response to police, Tivarekar is a ordinary offender who has been named in a number of bodily and property crimes.
A patrol workforce of RCF police station noticed him on a two-wheeler on Thursday and chased him. Nevertheless, Tivarekar dashed his two-wheeler into the police bike at a flip and fled from the spot.
